The fast rising Jewish student community in Durham is eagerly awaiting the official opening on 22 November of the kosher dining facility in St. Aidan's Hall.  Available to all Jewish students in Durham, the facility will provide supervised kosher meals on Friday nights and Festivals.  There will also be catering available from the kitchen for JSoc events which will be held in a dedicated room within St. Aidan's Hall.

Jewish Student Centres

Two new Jewish Student Centres opened in Bristol and Nottingham at the start of the 2006/07 academic year.  The state of the art facilities provided there have proved an outstanding success with a massive increase in Jewish student activity in both Centres.

Already open for this year is a stunning new Centre in Liverpool with ample space for a wide range of innovative programmes including self-defence courses and musical "jam" sessions.

Also underway for an opening in January, is a new Student Centre in the heart of Brighton which will be designed and equipped to meet the requirements of the 250+ Jewish students studying in the town.
