How do I apply for a place at Hillel House?
You need to apply direct to the Hillel House in which you wish to stay. Check out the Accommodation Pages on our website for details on how to apply for residence in each House.
Are Social Events held at Hillel House?
Yes, Hillel Houses hold educational, social and cultural events including Friday night meals. For information of what is going on in your area contact your local JSoc – details can be found on the UJS website www.ujs.org.uk
Are Hillel Houses Kosher?
All catered Hillel Houses are strictly kosher. In those Hillel Houses which are self-catered residents are expected to observe the laws of kashrut.
Do I have to be religious to stay in a Hillel House?
Hillel Houses are open to all Jewish students irrespective of their affiliation or level of observance.
