ABOUT US
UJS Hillel came into existence in 2000. Its formation was as a result of a communal review of student provision within the UK. The B'nai B'rith Hillel Foundation was established in 1953 to meet the demands of a growing Jewish student population.
In 1973 UJS was founded as the successor organisation to the peer-led student organisation IUJF (Inter-University Jewish Federation). Both these organisations came together with other organisations supporting Jewish students including the UJIA and CST.
UJS Hillel is governed by a Board of Trustees under the Chairmanship of Sir Victor Blank and is comprised as follows:-
Sir Victor Blank – Chairman
